As part of our efforts to support our clients during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have created this page to collect links to local community resources. We will update this page on an ongoing basis, so we encourage visitors to check back often to view more resources as they are added.

LA Food Resources Portal
The County of Los Angeles has opened a webpage listing food resources throughout Los Angeles County, including meal distribution sites and food pantry locations.

CalFresh SNAP Program
CalFresh is California's food stamps (SNAP) program. Apply to get up to $194 a month for grocery purchases per household member on an EBT card.

WDACS Food Distribution
The Los Angeles Workforce Development, Aging, and Community Services will be distributing food at various sites across the county.

Bell Gardens Drive-Up Food Distribution
The City of Bell Gardens and LA Regional Food Bank will host a food distribution event on September 26th at John Anson Ford Park. All who are in need are welcome.

PUSD Weekly Meal Distributions
Paramount Unified School District (PUSD) is hosting three weekly curbside meal distributions for children under the age of 18. Children do not need to be enrolled in PUSD in order to receive meals.

Lil Libros Resources
Lil’ Libros is offering free access to worksheets for kids.

PBS Programming
Starting Monday, March 16, students in Pre-K through 12th grade will have the opportunity to access free, educational PBS daytime programming designated for each grade level weekdays.

MIND Research Institute Math Program
MIND Research Institute is offering no-cost access to a free math instructional program for students in grades K-8.

Scholastic Online Resources
Scholastic is offering free online learning experiences for kids of all ages.

Temporary LA County Library Card
LA County Library is offering a temporary digital library card that provides access to all of the Library’s digital offerings, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, TV, homework help, online classes, and more.

Bell Gardens Scholars Program
The City of Bell Gardens is awarding 150 students a $500 grant for college, university, or trade school.

LA County Library Online Homework Help
The LA County Library offers online homework help for K-12, College, or Adult Learner students. Related services such as resume review, interview preparation, and Citizenship preparation are also available. Please note a library card is required to access these services.

Pathways Child Care
Pathways LA offers eligible parents the opportunity to receive child care services via a child care provider of their choice, which Pathways LA is then responsible to process payment for. Parents are able to apply online through their website or by phone at 213-427-2710.

LA Tenants Union
The Los Angeles Tenants Union is providing support around evictions.

St. Francis Center Resources
St. Francis Center provides meal services, clothing closets, showers/bathroom services, and rental and utility assistance programs (over the phone) for homeless and low-income individuals in Los Angeles.

Cudahy Emergency Rental Assistance
The City of Cudahy has launched a rental assistance program to help residents who have been economically impacted by COVID-19.

Paid Family Leave Resources
Paid family leave is available for those who stay home because they need to take care of someone who has contracted the virus (Covid-19) or who has been quarantined (must be certified by a medical professional).

Paid Sick Leave Resources
Disability benefits/paid sick leave are available for those who have actually contracted the virus themselves or who have been exposed to it and are quarantined (must be certified by a medical professional in the case of Disability Benefits).

Unemployment Benefits Resources
Unemployment benefits are available to those whose hours have been reduced or who have lost their job due to coronavirus measures (and it also applies to those who choose to stay home due to underlying health issues making them more vulnerable). The Governor has waived the one-week wait time, and the person may not be required to be actively looking for work (as is usually required).

LA Opportunity Youth Collaborative Resources
The L.A. Opportunity Youth Collaborative has created a factsheet to help the public access unemployment insurance.

MAOF Employment Coaching
MAOF is offering employment coaching for community members, including resume building, job leads, and mock interviews.

DV Shelter Hotline
If you are concerned about being quarantined in an unsafe home situation or need help, all DV shelter resources are generally available online. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is also available 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233 (SAFE) or 1-800-787-3223 (TTY).

Office of Immigrant Affairs Resources
The Los Angeles County Office of Immigrant Affairs is hosting a web page with various resources regarding medical testing and treatment for coronavirus, regardless of immigrant status.

LA County COVID Testing Sites
Free COVID-19 testing is available at State Testing Sites throughout Los Angeles County for people who are symptomatic or who are asymptomatic and meet certain requirements.

Department of Mental Health Hotline
The L.A. County Department of Mental Health has a 24/7 hotline that gives people access to mental health services in L.A. County, including information and referrals, screening, assessment, and crisis counseling.

NAMI Hotline
The National Alliance Against Mental Alliance (NAMI) has a hotline that provides free nationwide peer-support service, including information, resource referrals, and support to people living with mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers, and the public.

Headspace App
Headspace, which provides guided exercises and videos to help you become healthier and happier, is offering free access to its app throughout 2020 for Los Angeles County residents.

Charter Free Broadband Access
Charter Communications will provide free access to Spectrum Broadband and Wi-Fi for 60 Days for new K-12 and college student households.

SoCal Gas Assistance
SoCalGas is offering several assistance programs for eligible individuals, including a 20% discount on your natural gas bill if you qualify.

EveryoneON
EveryoneOn helps low-income individuals and families with K-12 students find low-cost internet and affordable computers in their area.

SoCal Edison Disconnection Suspension
Southern California Edison has temporarily suspended service disconnections for nonpayment and late fees for all residential and commercial customers.

Charter Communications Free Internet
Charter Communications is offering two months of free internet and wi-fi services for K-12 and college students affected by the current school closures in households not already subscribed to Spectrum Internet.
